did anyone just see this - thought that it was absolute pants.
Just two nordie spudheads with no personality looking for any excuse to get their tops off 'cos they were in the gym for a week - and they went all the way to India for that- rubbish.

A poor man's Wild Boys and another massive FAIL courtesy of RTE's new "comedy" schedule.

    What a stinker....

Colin is not a nordie, worse than that he is from Cork. and the programme was toe-curlingly awful, 2 dullards.

I stand corrected but yes absolutely not an ounce of charm / charisma in either of them.

    Who are they anyways?

I saw the ad and had thought "Am I supposed to know or care who Colin and Graham are?"

Also - way to keep up to date with your two decade old references RTE!

I Take it you fellow posters are all bigoted men. So what if one of them's a northerner?! also-the lack of shirt was very appealing for the female audience! Show was really different and funny-nice break from the usual crap reality shows and dullard documentaries!

That guy Graham is a presenter on Sky Sports News ,as for the other chap,no idea who he is.
The idea for the show wasnt bad but the 2 guys had no charm and the guy with the tatoo on the back of his head was an igoramace.
RTE need to stop making so many of their own programmes as most of them are ****e.

Absolute Tripe. About as funny as a kick in the balls and as someone said, a bit racist in parts.

I watched the ad for it and siad I'd give it a lash just to see if my thoughts on how terrible it would be came true.

Another complete waste of taxpayers money. This nonsense and anything that Baz prat is involved with.

Weren't Colin and Graham the two gay interior designers that had programs on BBC a few years back. Were they not a couple?

Having heard a radio interview with the two presenters I thought I'd give this a go too but wowzers. Not only was it a huge disappointment but it really did leave you with a bad feeling. I love travel shows and learning about new places and things. The activities were really interesting and fun but I totally agree - the bald guy was completely racist and not funny in the slightest. Could he have tried any harder? The other guy seems nice but my god the bulls weren't the only thing on that programme that needed to be reined in.

    :(

I actually liked it.. I think it's better than most of the stuff RTE puts on.

I just caught the end of an episode of the Irish Dragons Den and am convinced the bald guy with the tatoo on his head from this tripe had a pitch for the Dragons.

He was the guy selling the 'Paddy Olympics' if anyone remembers him.

I caught abit of the India bull racing. The Icelandic motor racing episode was enjoyable.

I didn't see any bald racist guy?????

However I did note the racist aspects of the Indian footage were they took off Indian customs, an old man came over a turn off their radio. He was dead right, they were being insulting.

I don't see how this programme fits into Comedy???? It is a sports/entertainment show.

Yeah that's Colin O'Carroll, he is also the guy that was on TV shows a few years ago after winning the Elephant Polo World Cup or something. The chap strikes me as an attention seeker. I dont like him and have no idea why RTE gave him a show.

The games were described on Dragon's Den as cheap paddywhackery and I agree.

watched this last night, lasted 10 minutes after which I tried to pull out my eyes!

It's so bad and the smug two idiots have a much personality as brick wall!
Honestly who thought that they should be on T.V.??? WHO?
They're not funny, not good looking, not interesting and clearly not clever if they thought that they could be entertaining!!!!!!!!!!!
    Jesus wept!

you have to be having a laugh!
It's the worst thing I've seen on RTE for years! and that takes some beating.
The two idiots walking around trying to be funny and failing in such an embarrasing manner! Then to try and salvage it they put over some scripted dross voiceover to make it appear like they have personality! I could go on but I would just get myself worked up into a rage again!
Jesus sometimes I wish I was deaf and blind!

I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, but if it comes on I'm not complaining. I'm not sure how long it can go on for though, before the well begins to run dry as far as obscure sports goes.

It could have been quite a good show if they made fewer episodes but put a decent amount of effort into each one, as well as being a little less egotistic about what they base most of the program on. I think the main thrust of people who watch it do so because they want to see the sports, not Colin and Graham themselves, in spite of what they seem to think. As such, if they took each sport more seriously and spent a few weeks doing some real training, with a video log to show their progress, it would give a far better idea of the requirements for each event and make it a more interesting show for the type of viewer they're getting.

Possibly up to the body building episode. Body building isn't an obscure sport. Next they will be playing hurling!

saw the sumo episode online, the script was terrible, they showed a complete lack of respect for the sport and the native people.
the 'comedy' element was cringe inducing

there was a similar UK show with a much better developed and very enjoyable

it was called 'last man standing'

the part where theyre on a train in Japan and randomly shouting in english at people about representing Ireland in a sumo competition was embarrassing, how dare they represent our country like that

Watching this now.. Pair of assholes making a mockery of a competition. Colin Carroll is an idiot, an attention seeking pr1ck when he went in the elephant polo, similar when he invented the Paddy Games... Does he just want to go around the world making us all looks like idiots. Not good enough at any proper sport that they have to try and get famous by playing the "idiot Paddy" card. Pair of them should be shot for treason.
