Whilst I fully respect people's right to disagree with each other, this does not give them the right to be aggressive and insulting towards each other.

I do my very best to remain respectful to everyone here on boards, even with those people I just simple don't get along with for whatever reason.

We are meant to be a community, one that demonstrates maturity and respect. So it was with great disappointment that I logged on today and seen comments like this in a recent thread:

"CR, no matter how many different ways you try to justify it you were an aggressive **** and are 50 times worse than anyone who didnt take a hit. Time to stop posting."

"You are a clown. I hope I never have to play against you."

Post an opinion. State your reasons for your view. But don't lower yourself to the level of schoolyard insults, childish comments or bullying tactics.

I'm tired of trying to make constructive posts where I'm genuinely trying to help, only to be meet with aggressive, condescending or insulting posts.

I've had enough. This forum used to have good decent players who were respectful and courteous to each other. Those days are gone it seems, and I've no wish to stay involved anymore.

    Goodbye all.

I personally don't have anything against ya, Ive met ya plenty of times and like ya but i just disagreed with what ya did.
You should probably report the posts you object to or take it over to the feedback forum though, its the done thing and you'll probably attract more negative attention this way instead of making your point.http://boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=82
I agree though, the lads were a little coulorful in their wording, but their points are valid. maybe its the fact that you are a long serving member of the community and they just expected more cop on from ya.

This is forum feedback. Feedback is that way.

Enough of the dramatic blog posts please. If you want to stop posting here, fine. You don't need to make an announcement.
