    hi guys,
got a bit of a problem and cant seem to find any1 to help, basically im trying to set up a couple of xboxs on xbox live for somebody, they have a vodafone bewan router and 3 xboxs that cant connect to the network, they are being set up wirelessly, the thing is the xboxs can see the network but they wont connect to it,they have 2 ps3's that conected no problem,iv tried everything on the xboxs from setting up port forwarding to putting them in the dmz and even turned the network to open,it was set up on wpa, does any1 have any suggestions why they wont connect to the network? is there a setting on the bewan that may be blocking the 360's? do the bewan reouters have upnp enabled? the bewan uses dhcp to give out ip addresses so it isnt a conflict or anything.i find it strange it sees the network but wont connect,is there a wifi compatibilty issue i wonder, any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Try giving each xbox its own ip address.
Including the PS3's, this will make sure its not an ip conflict.

DHCP can get it wrong by giving the same address out.

    Hi Stanton,

    Can you try this:

    Log in to router:
Enter ip: 192.168.1.1 into your browser
    Enter your username:
    Enter your password:

Change settings on router to allow communication with the xbox live service:

Click applications on the left hand side
Select Xbox live 360 from the "games" drop down list
    Click ok
Click "router" on the left hand side
    Click UPnP
Tick the UPnP IGD and UPnP AV boxes.
    Click ok

    Restart the Xbox
Unplug and leave the Xbox off for roughly 5 minutes, then power on again.

    Paul.

is there more than 1 type of bewan router available because under router there is no upnp option, just nat,dmz and 1 other setting i cant remember its definatley not upnp anyway,or does upnp only appear after you select xbox 360 in the applications menu, cheers
