    I got stung for €40 at the weekend while reaffiliating with my local macra. Apparently there's student discount for macra chapters based in colleges, affiliation only costs €10 by comparison, a €30 saving-practically a night out! It got me thinking surely there must be other macra members in D.I.T, if so can we not unite in this time of recession??

    Macra na Feirme is a national, voluntary organisation for young people between the ages of 17 and 35. The organisation aims to promote agricultural and rural development and the personal development of its members.
    Macra promotes social and cultural education, and the widening of interests among rural youth.
