Shops selling prosthesis for breast cancer

Posting for my mother who had a mastectomy last year. She wears a prosthesis now but it's not the best. She feels a bit self conscious and feels it doesn't fit that great in her bra, also she can't seem to get a good choice of bra's. She'd feel much more confident if she could find a shop where the staff knew what they were talking about and that offered a good service for this. Really want to help her to get her confidence back so if anyone knows of anywhere that's really good or has gone through the same thing and can recommend somewhere. We live in Carlow but obviously will go anywhere in Dublin, Kilkenny, Waterford etc.

I don't know about the prosthesis but Marks and Spencers do some mastectomy bras here. They also do mastectomy swimwear I think. The bras get some good reviews on the site so they may be of some help.

This shop in Waterford sells post op lingerie and possibly other related products. The owner Maggie is well know for her experience and knowledge with post op ladies. Well worth a call.

Murrays medical equipment on talbot street are very good, they're one of the main suppliers to the HSE so have a lot of experience and tend to be quite competitive.
