    Hi, need some advice.

I have been told I will be let go from my job on the 31st December. From now till then I will be paying off my credit card which means by the time I finish up work I will be broke basically!

Does any one have an idea the time it takes between getting your forms into the welfare office and getting paid? I'm in D8.

in the time you are waiting for payment of JSB or JSA from the social welfare office, you can apply to your local community welfare officer (at your local health centre) for Supplementary Welfare Allowance (SWA)
