I understand, that due to popular demand, the exhibition has been extended to run past remembrance day, until Friday 13th/November. I called in over the weekend, the whole interior of the church is filled with WWI & WWII memorballia > letters home from the front (1914-18), to gas masks from WWII, to all kinds of pictures from the trenches, many pics of WWII aircraft, a glass caese full of old cigarette packs from 39-45. Admittedly they are a bit light on Navy stuff, a nice touch is the 1940s music wafting round the church which helps create the right atmosphere. Next year they hope to borrow exhibits from the maritime museum (Dun Laoghaire) & from Collins Barracks Dublin.

Not a bad exhibition, but next years should be much bigger & better.

    Hi,

are there any contact details for the person(s) who organised this exhibition? I am just wondering because I would have been able to provide a couple of more items for the exhibition.
