Well, it's been a few years now since this failed experiment. Caught the first episode of it, but never followed it. I'm curious to find out what people thought of it, whether they thought it was a complete disaster, or saw potential in it?

I thought it was fecking brutal tbh. Someone described it as "wrestling for people with ADD". I think that is a good description.

Watched the full series of this a while back and I have to admit i enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. It was what it was and never claimed to be filled with psychologically laden 40 minute epic matches, or anything else. It was wrestling for the MTV generation, 3 minute matches with as many high spots crammed in as possible. Helluva talented roster as well what with Sydal, Teddy Hart, the Dragon Gate lads, Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, Waltmann, Jack Evans and lots more of the more well known Indy guys.

If you're expecting anything other than short, sharp thrills then steer clear. But there have been far worse wrestling TV shows put together than this, by far bigger companies. I'd certainly rather watch this than Impact.

Only things that actively annoyed me were Vampiro (jesus i hate that guy) and the ring anouncer. He was a f*cking retard.

I don't know much about Vampiro but I didn't get a good impression about him from Jerichos book.

As for X, I only saw the last 15 minutes of one episode, and while I didn't have much interest in it, I kind of agree flahavaj, it was what it was. In the short term it could have been interesting, what with short matches and loads of bumps one after another but in the long run I would have bored of it. As flahavaj also said, it didn't seem much worse than Impact.

I enjoyed WSX but the constant explosions got a bit annoying. For random three minute high spot filled matches it was a bit of fun.

Yes the explosions drove me nuts
