    Hi,

I bought a van last week. It had a new battery put in it 6 months ago but due to a wheel chair ramp shorting its been sitting with 2v for the last good few months. I bought a new battery last week as had no joy jump starting the van.

Is the battery a right off or is it worth charging it or anything?

    Paul

See will it take a 24 hour charge.

as henry ford said. try a charge but a battery left flat that long may be Kaput.
On the other side of things it should be under warranty and they do not know it has been flat for that length of time.
