I took it apart because one of the string saver saddles had rusted stiff in the hinge.

Now i have it back together but have noticed 1 of the string saver saddles is bigger than the rest. Where does this one go??

    Thanks in advance

D and G are higher than A and B which are higher than E and E. They're supposed to match the curve of the fretboard

Thanks man, where do you reckon this larger one goes or is it just a matter of adjusting everything to suit?

On a floyd rose theyre generally not adjustable

Normally you shim Floyd rose saddles to match the radius of the guitar neck. The baseplate already has a radius of like 10" built in (depending on the model, with all these 'licenced' ones you cant be sure) so you just use shims to fine-tune.

The saddles are supposed to be all the same size and interchangeable. If you have one that is taller, it could just be a craply made Floyd. Or maybe you just havent put it in right. Anyway, just set up the guitar and check the action across all strings. If you have one taller saddle, just use it for the string that needs it most - check for buzz etc.

If this is true why do banzai specify that saddles are for different strings?
