Refresh rate

    Was working on the pc yesterday and got really sore eyes .Checked the refresh rate and its set to 75hz , should it be at 60hz. Also I recently changed the colour setting to 32bit.
    Downloaded a game ,maybe this chaged my settings also ????

    Those refresh rates should not cause you eye strain (no more than normal at least), the higher the refresh rate the better in fact.

    There are likely other factors; you may be ill (even minor illness which isnt very obvious can attribute to this), fatigue, the room wasnt lit optimally, you were closer to the screen than normal, you were particularly engrossed in what you were doing (tends to reduce the amount of times you blink)...
