Any fitters for an after market OBC & MFSW on a 320

    Hi guys,

    Anyone know of people that will retrofit a MFSW and a stalk (and what every else is necessary) to activate the OBC on a 320 es spec.

    Would main stealers be interested in this kind of work in the current climate?

    Hi, the MFSW should be straight forward, it should be just a straight swap out, You will also need to buy the right "hub adapter" that has the necessary electrical connections for the wheel, they are about €70.
    However to get the OBC is probably a bit more involved as there are various senors required about the car that need fitting too. There could be missing wiring too, some older BMWs were wired for equipment they didn't have, I'm not sure about the newer stuff.

    and yes, members on there have retro-fitted the BMW MFSW, not sure about an after market obc though !

    Is it an E46 or E90 3 series? The E46 were all pre-wired for one AFAIK. I remember being told my KOL's in Cork about €2-250 to fit one to a 320i I almost bought once. I don't know about the E90 though

    It is an e46.

    Pre wired for the MFSW or the OBC?

    Where would I get all the kit I need, do I have to go the main dealer?

    Do I need a specalist to install or could any compotent mechanic do it?
