    Hi all,

I need an appointment with a solicitor at very short notice but all I have tried can't fit me in.

Can any provide a recommendation? It is in connection with a road traffic offence if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Gavin

    Where are you based?

You should be able to get one at the Court, there will be a few of them milling around.

There should be any amount of solicitors in the Dublin City area who deal with RTA law who would be willing to attend subject to agreement on fees. If you want, feel free to pm me those who you have tried. I will send you a list of any you may have missed who practice generally in those courts.

If your pleading guilty you could do it on your own and save a few pound.

He might not be guilty and could lose "a few pound". Some judge give higher fines to unrepresented defendants so the saving can be illusory.

    Am I feck pleading guilty.

Its not even my name on the summons. They completely misspelt it.

My name is Gavin and they have spelt it "Cervin".

I'm expecting it to be thrown out...

Getting the name on the summons is not likely to be enough reason for the judge to throw it out.
e.g. They've spelled your first name wrong but is the surname correct? How about the address?

Do solicitors looking for work walk into the courthouse and mill around for this very purpose? or would it just be they are there for something else?
