    Hi All,

I'm new to this section of boards...

Can i pick someones brains pls. I bought 2 nice paintings on hols. Next step is to get them framed.

I'd like to get a frame that the canvas wraps around and is (tacked) in. Or put differently there is no glass and no outer frame.

I think they call it a box canvas or wrapped canvas...

Anyone know a place in Dublin or Wexford that is reasonable and reliable please?

    Thanks

If you know anyone who is a carpenter they could easily make up the frame you need, its a stretcher frame, the canvas is stretched over the frame.

The frame can be thin or thick depending on how much canvas is to spare around the edge of the painting.
