I was talking to a cousin of mine about possibly doing this trip next year, but as both of us are possibly going to lose our jobs in the next couple of months, it may not be a good idea to make such plans :(

Anyway, I've previously seen peeps on other forums post up pics of their trips there, and it is an eerily haunting place that I would love to see. Unfortunately though, there are no mutants á la S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

    haha that cracked me up.

I wasn't allowed travel to Chernobyl to do some work there with my last job because they told me I'd want to have a family first.

My doctor told me the same when she heard the name Chernobyl... but when I ask her for Lugol's fluid she never heard... before I've decided to go there I read really a lot about consequences of being there, including tons of statistics. At the and of the day it's your choice anyway.
