    Hi all,

Have a Mini Cooper S which I bought in May. It's a 04 model. AND I LOVE IT!
I've been having a recurring problem with rubbing sounds which appears to be coming from the passenger side rear wheel. Have sent it to the dealer twice to be repaired, they do something and it returns again in a week or two. Any ideas what this could be? I don't want to post what the dealer has been saying as want to get opinions which are not infleuenced first!
When the noise is ther it is worse at slow speeds and when taking off. It's also bad when on roundabouts. All of a sudden it can go away again!

Look forward to your opinions, thanks in advance!

    CAMRC

One possibility is that the wheels are fouling the arches CARMC. Certainly the fact that its bad on roundabouts would qualify this theory as body roll would mean that the body is keeled over somewhat. Does the car have large aftermarket wheels fitted by any chance?

There are of course other possibilities.
