    Along with Jose Maria Olazabal they have both been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

    Probably one of the biggest achivements someone can be granted.

    Little piece on it here

    He follows in the footsteps of the legendary Joe Carr as the only Irishmen to have been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

    O'Connor said "George O'Grady rang me from London and I thought at the moment that somebody was playing a big joke on me. It didn't dawn to me for a moment that I was good enough to have that honor, which is one of the great honors in the world"

    Many congrats and truly deserved.

    Both deserve it.

    Christy was an exceptional player and could play a driver off the deck better than anyone.
