Under Jeremy Guscott's article heading it says that Jeremy thinks that Greg Inglis "could" make it in RU.

Greg Inglis is a monster. 6'5" over 16st. He's player at the very top level of RL at full back, wing, centre, stand off (or five-eighth if your that way inclined). He has pretty much every attribute required to play rugby. It's safe to say "could" doesn't really do the man justice.

Fingers crossed he doesn't decide to chase the cash; I'm sure it's been offered to him

The word "could" is disrespectfull thing to say to such a talented player between him and Billy Slater they are probably two of the very best players in either code to have played rugby.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/rugby_union/8339029.stm If it's that then I don't see any problem with what he said. Fairly sure from the OP it was just poor editting on the frontpage.

The original cover page on the bbc website has since changed - it had included a snippet of Guscotts column where he mentions "how Inglis could make it". It was probably poor editing on the front.
