    Hi,

I am part of a research group in Teagasc. Our department is envolved in energy research in dairy farming, we run an energy lab testing several different energy saving and renewable energy technologies.

I have been on this forum before and I have seen alot of talk about wind turbines,PV panels etc... Don't be fooled! the payback period on many of these systems I have seen is currently 20-30 years!

If you are interested in renewable energy and you want a system which can be integrated into your water heating/milk cooling systems and that will pay itself back in reasonable time, then please contact us and we can advise you.

We don't want to see farmers getting ripped off, wasting there money on useless and expensive equipment when they could be installing pratical energy saving systems for a fraction of the price!

If you want more information please send me a PM and I'll be happy to help.

Please don't try to ring the office with questions as were are a small department and we don't have the resources to deal with these calls.

The next time theres an open day for farmers I'll let ye know on this forum.

If you want more information or you're thinking about installing a renewable system please send me a PM and I'll be happy to help.
