    Hi guys,

I need a new laptop (spilled gin on my VAIO :( ) and I basically cannot afford one, so I'm wondering if anyone out there is offering laptops on finance or buy now pay later?? Desperate times. :)

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks,
    WD.

What sort of laptop are you looking for?

PC World do (or at least the one in the Jervis Centre does). Although a nice fella who works in there says that they use a UK credit vetting company and that they're not very good, so a lot of punters get turned down for finance for no good reason.

I haven't availed of their finance and know nothing else about the conditions that come with it, but when I was last in there a month ago there were signs saying it was 'interest free'.

Would a bank loan not work out a lot cheaper than buying on finance???

Didn't know that, thanks. Had a bad experience with two Vostros recently so trying to avoid Dell if I can.

Sorry if I was unclear, but it all depends what is available on finance. Below the €1000 I guess.

I haven't been saving a penny with them for over a year so no chance of a loan I'm afraid. Thanks.

That's great. I'll try PC World on Thursday.

    Thanks.
