    Hi guys,

    Just wondering have any of you sat this course??

    I was made redundant a while ago and am considering commencing this course as have an interest into it.

    I couldnt really afford to pay for revision classsed/lectures so my main question is as follows;

    Do you think it is possible to pass this course through home study, study of various textbooks etc?????

    Any opinions would be very much welcome.

    If I want to register I need to decide by mid December so I can sit exams the following June.

    What I was thinking of doing is starting home study and taking maybe 3 or 4 out of the ten exams next summer , then hopefully when I find work I can also pay to attend lectures at a college and then sit exams 5-10

    Thanks for reading my post and once again any opinions/experience would be vey much welcome

    Hi Mick,

    Regrads the urgency to register as far as i know with CAT and ACCA you can take Computer based exams which means you can actualy register later than that, dont take it as gospel but thats my understanding.

    Dont want to repeat my self so look at the below first and then ask any further questions. personally when you read below i would ignore CAT and sart with ACCA, home study fine for 1st 3 thereafter id recommend going to clases but London School of Bissiness does online coreses whre the lectures are recorded so you can view them on your computer and you get tutor support. Cant comment on how good it is but will be trying them myself in Jan 2009, approx £350 stg per subject.
