Price for Architect - post planning

    Hi,

I have planning permission for a house extension in Dublin. The plans were drawn up and submitted by an architect technician who is not authorized to sign off on the completed works.

Can anyone give me an idea of how much an architect would cost to do, say, 3 site visits and then sign off on the completed works?

    Thanks!

You're probably looking at about 300e a visit. Just make sure they're happy with what your doing from the outset. Chat to your contractor first as the engineer will try and sell you construction drawings and contracts which are not always necessary - depends on the contractor really. You can get either an engineer or architect to do this job for you, once they have professional indemnity cover.
