I own and shoot a Bettinsoli Diamond LX 30" Sporter multi choke. I know this is not the exact model you mentioned but it is very similar. This will be my third season using it and so far I am very happy with it. I mainly use it for rough shooting but have also used it for clays and I have found it great for both.

It came with the usual five standard chokes. The safety catch has a H configuration with forward and back for the safety and left and right for the selector. The ejectors work well and have never given any trouble.

The finish on the gun is very good. It has side plates with scroll work and gold game scenes. The trigger is also gold. The timber is walnut and looks very well.

The gun weighs 3.5kg (7.3/4lb), which is probably the only fault I’d have with it as this is a bit on the heavy side for a long days hunting. If you are mainly into hunting and only do the odd bit of clay shooting id go for a game gun and stay away from the sporters. If on the other hand if you do a lot if each I would have no problem recommending this gun.

    Hope this helps.

    PS

I have posted pictures showing the gun before in the photo thread if you look at some of my older posts.

    CBEIRNE,

Thank's for your review, just what I wanted to hear,
I think I will buy this gun very soon,
the only bad point's, wrote in a magazine was about a heavy duty spring, that seem's to cause the gun to miss-fire after some time.
The weight thing I can live with, I'm pretty much a Big Boy, strong arm's,
I will be shooting 80% game/20% clays, I want to do the clay shooting again, that's why a o/u is required, I have two semi's, one must go. THANK'S AGAIN MATEY.:D
