    I have about 400 SKU's for products we sell.

    We are currently using an excel sheet that we developed in house. It is however very cluttered and not very effective as we often purchase items from different suppliers in different countries with different currencies.

    We have looked at the idea of getting a db designer to move from excel to access. Was wondering if anybody knew of a commercial product that could provide a similar solution?

    I worked on a project with some specialists who have designed products like this for the retail sector etc; some off the shelf and some bespoke. Will send a PM..

    Product then was an EPOS tool for retail category managers here in Ireland to easily and automatically make the most of EPOS data received from Tesco, Superquinn and Musgrave Group data to improve sales performance and profitability.

    Outputs were many but included various insightful SKU reports across all the aspects of the business. All work was converting comma-seperated or excel files to access enabling a menu one-click automatic SKU and other reports

    Hi Guys,

    The sort of thing I am looking for is like the North Wind Access database with more bells and whistles.

    I am looking to compare prices from different vendors even if the currency is different. See how much stock I need to hold etc.

    I work for a company that amongst other things, develops bespoke applications and has developed an EPOS tool very similar to what Spinnaker mentioned using MS Access.
