Opel Corsa 01 Auto - Engine Sound

    There is a sound coming from the engine even after turning off the engine. It sounded like a Fan going on and it lasted over a minute.
    Does any one know if this is normal or if there is something wrong with the engine?

    Might seem like a silly answer but it might be the fan. Is there coolant in the coolant bottle?

    In most cars the engine cooling fan still runs after switching off the engine. Once it cools the fluid down to a certain temp , it switches off
