    Recentley my uncle and I bought an new tractor and for the first time ever a front loader!But the place we bought it from only sells tractors so we can shop around for a shear grab! Does anyone know how much a new one is probabley a four foot one!We were told around E2000 euro.We could get a s/h one for about 1100 but they look pretty rough.Last thing we wanna be doing on a december morning is fixing burst pipes:)Anyone any thoughts on the best make to buy?

    Go for a parmiter or shelbourne shear bucket, sheet steel floor and half sides so you can use it for meal too, but failing that we had a mchale before that without any trouble and they can be got cheap second hand

    If you are in the Cork area call in to Atkins, they have a yard full of second hand shear grabs , several different makes,all sizes and some look in good condition.
