PW Insider have reported that WWE studios are considering a Untertaker Origins Movie. To be set in the 1800's it would be a western style movie.

    WWE DEVELOPING UNDERTAKER ORIGIN FILM

As I broke last week in my PWInsider.com Elite audio,World Wrestling Entertainmentis developing a potential feature that would work as an Undertaker origin. The as of yet untitled film is in the development stage and would be a Western set in the late 1800s.
The project does not have any writers or actors attached at this point, but is something Studios has in their pipeline for 2010-2011. The current projected budget is in the $3.5 million range, which would indicate it's a planned direct to DVD film.

I for one think this could be a really interesting Movie idea. You could say a phenomenal movie idea.

Wonder if it would include the old kayfabe Kane story, with the house-burning, etc.

Hmmmmm I'm not sure about this one. Sounds exciting in theory but it would probably end up being pretty lame. A zombie who origninated in the old west and went through identity crisis' that saw him take on the persona of a 12th century Bavarian count, a hell's angel and MMA submission specialist. I can't see it working and straight to DVD is surely an early admission of defeat?

First thing that came to mind was a cheap rip of of The Saint Of Killers from Preacher for the western bit.

A PG version of course. :D

That's what I was thinking of too. But I hope this never comes to light.

I hope never to see his mug in a western. I love the genre and could not stomach anything like his camp Blade: Trinity performance in a western.

Or even worse, him trying to get DX references somewhere into his role.

The 3.5 million wouldn't last long if they signed him i'd say!
