    story lads
    anyone hear dat da goverment is bringin out new laws dat say dat airsoft can only be played in a few places n dat da goverment is gonna close down sites that dont have insurance?

    we wanna hope dat da goverment chills out befor all sites are closed down.

    anyone else hear dat?

    to be honest as a responsible airsoft you should only be play at sites that have insurance

    but the government is bringing in new regulations which will regulate importation, sale, and sites in general

    i dont think its legal if you dont have insureance anyway

    if it is on private land then there would be nothing illegal at the moment with playing without insurance, but i would regard it as highly irresponsible, if you where playing on public land without insurance then that would be two big nos nos considering the change in the law recently to increase the garda powers against people brandishing replicas in public

    ah yes i forgot about palying on private land, i was only thinking of trying to set up a site without insurance

    Its in the interest of the site owner to have insurance anyway, afterall if something happened they would have to reach into their own pocket if they had no insurance and that could break a site.

    Also I think the gov making regulations re airsoft is better than the old attitude they held towards it.
