I've a 1st gen ipod touch and it's recently started acting up, only letting me hear the right side, but if i twiddle with the plug(is that the right word?) it will play the left.

It is not the earphones!! I've tried 3 different pairs.

I know you can buy a replacement on ebay and do it yourself, but I am not doing that!!
Anyone know where I can get it fixed/how much? Or would I be better off buying a new ipod?
