Need to sell a part

I bought a brand new hub for a nissan primera last week of the main nissan dealer, €300. It turned out that the hub wasn't the problem and I needed new brake disks and pads.

So now I'm lumbered with a part I dont need. The garage dont want to take it back because they don't stock it normally. I've a receipt and the part is in its box but I've no idea where I can realistically sell it. I put an add on the buy and sell but I doubt that'll do anything.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Throw micksgarage (www.micksgarage.ie) a mail and see will they take it off you.

If it's unused why wouldn't they take it back?

Probably a special order part. OP Did a mechanic tell you to get the part? Soem places will take the parts back, but at a surcharge, to cover carraige etc..

They should take it back and charge you a restocking fee. I would imagine it wasn't of the shelf, did they have to order it in for you?

Cheers. I'll get on to all those in a bit.

It wasn't recommended to me by a mechanic so it's all my mistake here. They wont take it back because they don't stock it. Apparently, it's not something that ever really goes on the primera.
