    Before I go offline today (modem being posted back today - and await new provider next week), I did say I would let ye know what I got.

    I hope I made the right choice, but time and practice will tell.

    Tokina AT-X PRO 12-24mm F4 (aspherical)

    I got that lens a couple of years ago and I love it. Compared to the more popular Sigma 10-20, I think it's a better lens. Certainly it feels more solid.
