Q: Work gave me an iphone, I'm not on O2 -options?

    As a perk or something work gave me an 8gb iphone they had got as an upgrade

    at moment I am on meteor, nor do I want to go on the work bill

    so do I unlock it?

    Do I jailbreak it ? I don't understand what other uses that opens up, I did know - and I have googled

    or should I sell it on and use the money to get the new 3Gs iphone , was thinking about opting for the iphone a few times but my mate's always seemed so slow
    The cost of meteor data addons make the o2 tarriff a reasonable option

    I also understand the newer versions harder to unlock/ jailbreak etc ?

    is the new one significantly better ?

    It is still sealed in its box as I k now it updates when first turned on.

    Sell it as brand new and buy yourself the same one unlocked 2nd hand newish with cash left over :)

    unlock the **** out of it and proceed to smash up the nearest Ohtue shop/base station/employee to get revenge on them for peddling supposedly perma-locked phones to the masses
