trouble connecting external hard drive to dvd player - help.

    hi,

    i recently bought a silvercrest dvd player with a usb port in it. my old wd 80gb external hard drive plugs straigh in and plays d films i have on this no problem.

    the other day i bought a 1tb wd external hard drive and tried loading the films onto this and do same. unfortunately it seems that its not able to play the film for me. when i click on usb option it doesnt bring up the list.

    is it that the settings are wrong on this new external hard drive or is it too big to play in dvd player usb option?

    any suggestions?
