Airsoft videos

finding airsoft videos is a lot easier than it used to be with so many posting one clip or another and even putting together little movies and uploading them as well but still something which is not so common is a gun mounted camera view (despite there being plenty of equipment available to service this potential) and so we've decided to correct that. But rather than rely on it (a single camera view) soley or rely on staged scenes or as in some very famous airsoft videos sheer laziness we decided to combine the live in action gun camera view with 3rd party perspective by getting some people to help by getting in amongst the games and filming (risky but fun).

Now I'm not going to suggest they are amazing and by far the videos that still impress me the most are the Americans operation Irene stuff and you should look it up but I think for a new start and some very basic starting kit (not such a hot quality camera) our standards and quality are improving quite nicely and happily so too is our camera equipment so you can look forward to more of the same and better. Enjoy and any suggestions or constructive criticism or ideas or even collaboration offers are welcome.

    Torik

p.s. All filmed on location at Red Barn airsoft.
photograpy and filming other than gun mount credited to Wes airpics@live.ie and Martin, thanks lads

Those Operation Irene Videos is what made me get into airsoft.
    Just epic.

I've dabbled with the idea of getting a gun cam and doing something similar.
Tis quite a good idea and hope it goes well!

You'll never fall short of finding airsofters to pose for you anyway....

it certainly works very well an thats for sure and multiple camera angles would make these movies even better so am working on that idea. As for pose very little of our material thankfully is posed (2 photos I believe total ) which is the way I like it, actual game action footage :D

For all those who like the gun cam we recently upgraded equipment so watch the first video in HD on youtube (the odd skip is a youtube issue that they never resolved as the original file I checked back over is fine but not much an issue to worry about). Either way I think its probably our best short one yet and has some definate atmosphere to it. A good sign of things to come all, enjoy ;)

Over 200 videos found here from Scout The Doggie who is a prolific cameraman in Scotland.

Some very good themed ones too; couple of Vietnam ones; but some really cool looking WW2 events.

True; mind you I hadn't heard of him until I had the pleasure of meeting him in April 2009 at the Fort, Scotland.

Nah I went lookin for airsoft videos an his were the first up so that caught my eye. But it seemed every other persons videos on there just followed the same approach. So when I found the gun cam angle in the op Irene ones myself an the bro thought it might be good to do something ourselves. started with the lower quality and recently got some new cams so the next day we're out should give us (hopefully) some good material., new vid will be uploaded shortly an hope ya like the first short one with the new cam besides the others. Thankfully these days airsoft videos do seem to have a good variety and everyone isn't still busy trying to copy scout lol
