    Hi Folks,
I am looking for laptop software to play a series of tracks/sounds at a live show.
what i can imagine is a list of tracks on screen, currently playing, ready to be played, etc, showing timing also, as simple as possible
The tracks are all pre-recorded so no need for effects. maybe just fading
I am sure there is lots of this about, but i dont know where to start.
    - have looked at some synth stuff but its way way out of my league!
    anybody got any ideas?

    :rolleyes:thanks

    Thanks Iomegaman,
looks just what i need, hit the nail on the head actually, but its mac only i think,

Itunes is kinda the the idea, but its real slow, and id like to fade in/out multiple tracks at once.

    will keep looking:o

Magix music studio 15. I've had people crying on my shoulder looking for this. Turns an idiot with a laptop into a DJ.

Would you not go for the big ones like Ableton? Cubase and Ableton are the industry standard AFAIK, sounds like a midi-controller controlling your tracks/sounds on Ableton is what you need, or are you not looking to invest? Demos on the website available here.
