Man dressed as sheep set on fire.

A 24-year-old football fan dressed as a sheep suffered serious burns to his arms and legs when his suit caught fire on a train in Fife.
Aberdeen fans said the man ran ablaze through the carriage as others threw beer on him to douse the flames.
The Edinburgh to Aberdeen service was stopped at Kirkcaldy at about 1900 GMT on Saturday to allow him to be treated.
British Transport Police said a 23-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
A second man is reported to have suffered slight injuries.
The train was carrying Aberdeen football supporters back home after their side's match against Hibs in Edinburgh.
It is understood a number of the fans at the match and on the train were dressed as sheep.
The train involved, an Arriva cross-country train, was the 1808 GMT service from Edinburgh to Aberdeen.
The fan who suffered burns is said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital in Kirkcaldy.
British Transport Police said the arrested man was expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.

    Bad baaaaastards

Threw beer on him? Do they not realise they were fueling the flames?

Thread title is misleading. I though his costume was a sheep on fire. :(

LOL. I know I shouldn't laugh, but this was my first thought too.

But back on topic, there are an awful lot of feckin' psychos in this weird world. Poor bloke. Hope it's not as serious as it sounds.

Beer is not flamable, it typically only has 5% alcohol so the high water content would help in this situation.

Spirits like vodka have 40% alcohol and are flamable.

I tried to feign outrage at the story but couldn't help laughing. Maybe if he'd been dressed as a more serious type of animal.

Yeah but seriously, who in Scotland is going to waste good vodka on burning passers by.
Hell the guy's lucky he wasn't at Glasgow airport or he might have got a kicking as well.

Joking aside that's awful...there's some very sick people out there.

A scummer tried to light my jeans on fire one time on the 13 bus in Dublin. And I daresay if I was dressed as a sheep there would have been more than one of them. Anything could have happened to that poor guy, or anyone else on the train. The dumbass f*cker who did it should be locked up for a good long while. People could have died.

    I didn't read the story but ..

To read 'Man dressed as sheep' is funny enough but to read 'Man dressed as sheep set on fire' is hilarious :pac:

Then I find the strangest things funny.

Like the other night walking down Harcourt St at 5am a girl dressed as a schoolgirl was fighting with her bf, a really good looking guy, topless, dressed as a firefighter and she screaming at him 'I'd don't care, I've had enough, I'm sick of it, your are liking a big kid" :)

Driving down Camden St last night at 3.30am and there must have been 100 girls dressed as cheerleaders in the lashings of rain .. thought that was funny too. I'm easily amused I guess :D

Ah here, a dressing-up-like-sheep fetish might seem odd to you or me, but to call the guy sick...

What they're not telling us, is that it wasn't really an Aberdeen fan. It was actually a Derby County fan, dressed in what is for them, their natural attire :p

He's lucky he wasnt in wales.

He'd have been raped rather than set on fire.
