    Hey there folks,

I recently unplugged the router to reset IP address, went back upstairs (laptop in attic, router on ground floor) and the connection was lost permanently.

This is strange because i can normally access my router from the attic.

Did I reset something when I unplugged my router? Is there any software/hardware/things i can do to make it work effectively again?

If you need any more info I can provide it..

    Wireless?

Is it DHCP? Does the laptop have an ip address?
