    Yes it can be changed. If there is a good enough reason for doing so. It is usually done in one of the following 2 ways:

    1. Wait until the current development plan is being changed (every 5 years) and then watch the local media for deadlines and make a submission to be included in the rezonings.

    2. If you want to change the zoning between development plans then you would usually have to make a planning application on the subject site, the planners will decide whether your application has merit or not, if it has your application is 'frozen' the LA will advertise their intention to rezone the site, observations, etc, are invited from the public, these are determined, the case is put to a councillor's vote and if carried your planning application is 'reactivated' and granted or refused.

    Can the A2 zoning on a site be changed? The site is in Co. Cork and its only 20 metres from A3 zoning.

    It appears as though I answered your post before you asked the question. Even muffler isn't that good :D
