Centri della Calzatura. This was a UCI Continental Team in 2009 but the article says they have applied for an upgrade to a Professional Continental license for 2010.

Is it my imagination, or do small Italian teams have a history of signing ex dopes?

Seems the chicken has flown the coupe (sorry couldn't resist the cliche :o).

"Dane says he hasn't signed a contract with CDC-Cavaliere
Reports of Michael Rasmussen's team affiliation for 2010 conflicted Friday. First, he was reported to be headed to the CDC-Cavaliere team for 2010 according to Biciciclismo. Later, he told the Danish ekstrabladet.dk that he had not yet signed with any team."

Looks like he's sorted for next year.
Seems he and Vino are contesting the UCI's year salary fine through the CAS

It does seem unfair that Basso is riding almost unfettered while Rasmussen and even Flandis are "persona non grata" at grand tours. Personally would prefer to seee them never compete again but natural justice I suppose allows there a second chance.

Bit sick of watching grand tours knowing full well the "winner" is doped to the eyeballs
