Chuck Liddell competing in Brazil in a Valetudo fight with Chute Box member 'Pele' 11 years ago - his second ever fight and he was 29 years old - (incase people think they're too old to start MMA at 28 or 30!)

They fight for 30 mins with no breaks and no gloves, headbuts allowed, groyne shots allowed - very brutal but worth a watch to see just how fit Chuck was and just how good his wrestling was.

Niether man was seriously injured i.e. broken bones or uncounscious so it raises the question again about how much accepted, regulated, legal MMA, with gloves, and many rules changes the style, format and potential outcome of a real fight between two guys (assuming modern MMA still attempts to discern who is the best all round fighter)
