iphone firmware up grade help

    Hi all


    I have a jail broke unlocked i phone on software 2.0.2.I want to up grade this to 2.2.1 How is doen?Do i need to restore my phone via itunes to do this? Is there another way of doing it with out restoring my phone..

    ok got that sorted.I have upgraded to2.2.1 no problems via Itunes sync phone disconnected from itunes turned on the phone and I dont have to unlock it! its running fine!is this normal? the only thing that's different is cyida is gone so how do I get this back up I use quickpwn have the boot loaders etc downloaded on to my pc everything works i click on install cyida the it says wait for your iphone to connect in recovery mode and thats it just stays on that screen anyone help me on this please
