Now that the winter's coming in I'll be spending more time on the turbo trainer. Anyone know if there's a computer that can be used to measure distance, speed etc on the trainer?

Do you have a computer for the road?

If you have one you could just fix the sensor and magnet to the rear it should work but not sure how accurate.

It's pointless using distance and speed stats on a trainer, since you're essentially cycling with a perfect tailwind.

HR or power are the only things worth measuring.

Maybe get a cheap but functional HR monitor.

And cadence - turbo is a great way of focusing on cadence.

Cateye Strada runs off the back wheel, has cadence and the rest.
