Does anybody know how to get the DCU wireless working on a Nokia 5800 EM phone?

I can connect to the network and access the dcu.ie webpage but other than than i can't get anything else.

It seems to be the same type of problem as when you first connect a laptop but don't tick the 'auto detect proxy' setting, however i can't find this as an option on my phone.

Anyone get a 5800 or similar phone working on this network?

DHCP should be auto enabed on that mobile, sounds like you need the WEP code , ask in the Union office for the code,

You don't need a WEP key.

It seems you just need to set the proxy info, a quick search turned up this:

proxy.dcu.ie:3128 should be the right details.

    Thanks for the replies!

It was the proxy and port settings that needed configuration, its all working now!

    Nice one :)
