    Hi, is there a way to stream media from my PC to my WII and PSP without having to use programs like www.orb.com

    thats only possible if you mod it. then you install a mplayer .. and play any media using SMB shares or USB HDD attached to Wii...

    yeah u need to install homebrew channel and then u can access mplayer from ur SD card .. look on the net.. there are loads of info.... but do not attempt until u know what you doing...

    I have used it before but i think a Wii update messed it up. i thought the mplayer only aloud you to play DVD's/music... from the Disk or SD card, but would it be able to access the moves on my pc?

    Yeah , it can access file from SMB shares... search on the net for the setup....

    if u modify your wii . if always recommended to turn off automatic wii update.

    Few days late jumping in on this post :rolleyes:, but there is a freeware program called tversity. It sets your computer up to stream to other devices i.e. PS3, Wii. The only thing is, all the devices have to be on the one wireless network, and the Wii needs to have the internet browser installed. Hope that helps you.
