    DEll seem to have removed the 3 year warranry option on the Inspirions? ? does any know any thing about this?

    Ok Called Dell, 3 year warranty is not an option any more. but you can buy a 3 year warranty which include Accidental damage for €339

    3 year on site was €119 - so if you want 3 year warranty now you have to pay €339


    :(

    Looks like they have replaced their 1, 2 or 3 year warranty option with a 'Standard, Advanced, Premium' service. With 1, 2 and 3 yrs respectively.

    But they have bundled the accidental damage cover in with the Advanced and Premium options, and no way of removing it. So those are going to be more expensive.

    Thats a pretty stupid move in my opinion. I want the option of not having (and not paying for) accidental damage. If its forced on me, i'd buy elsewhere to be honest.

    None of them are properly online yet though, so i'll see what the end result and prices are before jumping the gun.
