    I've seen first hand the fantastic work they do, but I couldn't do it. A phenomenal bunch of people who keep us safe as they can under very difficult circumstances.

    Considered it at one stage, BUT I am too fond of a certain noxious herb to join.

    Also, I'd probably lose the rag, and beat the snot out of some toerag. Or at least taser the cnut.

    Garda Ombudsman would get to know my face regularly.

    Traffic Corp or DS would be fun. Regular beat job maybe not so much.

    Well I can't join the Garda for obvious reasons :pac:

    But I'd never join the police. Though they do an amazing job, there's no respect for them anymore; they're constantly lampooned and vilified.
