I was just told that you can work 20/22 hours a week and still claim dole? Is this true? Or is this part of that 3 day week thing?

I think that in order to continue to receive you benefit you cannot work more than 3 days per week, does not matter how many hours. Once you work on the 4th day you lose benefit.

Yes, you can claim Jobseekers Benefit when on a three day. If you can't get Benefit you may qualify for Jobseekers Allowance but this is means tested.

The 20-22 hours you refer to must be completed within the three days that you have specified as working. Once you these hours into a 4th or 5th day then you are not entitled to any SW payment; unless of course you avail of the Part-Time Job Incentive Scheme but you need to be long term unemployed to qualify for that
