not sure what the others cost but 3.44 for a 660ml bottle
    of tiger isnt a bargain
    These are £1.88 in asda
the 500ml bottle is usually 2.69 and a couple of months
back you could get 24 330ml tigers for 20euro and more recently
20 for 20 which was in supervalu so thats
1 euro for 330mls compared to 3.44 for twice that
Rip off republic if you ask me
I love the bigger bottles personally but its rare you get them cheaper

Living in Cork ASDA aint an option for me. Prices coming down like this for us down far south is a welcome as we don't have another option.

Tesco now about the dearest for Bulmers.

    Smoke and mirrors IMO.
major retailers should disclose the profit margins in their Irish divisions to introduce transparency into the debate. It casts doubt on the “change for good” claim by pointing out that the price of one item, Bulmers cider, rose by 10 per cent.

I can't imagine it was feck all dearer than that tho and
there have been much better offers here on the smaller
    bottles.
Was the 660ml bottle of tiger actually dearer than 3.44?

€2.09 for Duvel 330ml is hard to be beaten I think.

They also have Peroni Nastro Azzurro 660ml for €3.09, which is decent too.

You're right. I will drive the 4 hour trip to Asda and then drive it all the way back again.

asda isnt an option but when you couldve got 20 tigers for 20 euro (330ml) in supervalu and dunnes recently then who needs asda?
The bargains are here with beers from time to time

i priced some of these in costcutter in thurles tonight (tescos was closed)

budvar 500ml bottles 6 for €10 -1.66 each (this was 4 for €5 there last month)
    tiger 500ml bottles - €2.69 each
    peroni 330ml bottles 4 for €5
duvel was €2.49 alright but thats not a huge difference and it wasnt on offer..well it hadnt a big sign on it like...

the hoegarden wasn't avaliable in the big bottles there so its too hard to compare but tescos offers aint great in my mind if a local costcutter is beatin them

also they had bottles of spaten for €1.59 in this costcutter too which is a bargain alert IMHO. And they were 500ml too

If someone can tell me where I can get these beers cheaper in Cork I'd appreciate it. Duvel is 3.80 in the Abbot ale house for example. Bargins for good beer here are hard to come by.

I went to Centra in Bishopstown about a month ago and it was like 9:50 so I had no choice. Budvar was 3.40 for 500ml. I said it was expensive. The clerk was rude saying that it was a good beer. 3.40 for a bottle . f that

I know Dublin has some good offer for good beers but we don't get them down here. If you have prices in Cork that are better please pass them on.

Corona in Mahon Point mispriced, SEL shows it down to 14.99 but scanning at 19.99, just be sure to pay for it first then head straight to CS to get your full refund, was too nice to them earlier and pointed it out before paying so got caught out, Please PLEASE PLEASE somebody fleece them.

Supervalu have 24 cans of Heineken for €29.99 at the moment. Pretty good value IMO.
