My pc is great for what I want, which is mainly the internet. Lately windows updates stopped working altogether so I'm wondering can I buy a new windows package like say Windows 2007 and replace windows 2000 which is the system I currently have?

Need to upgrade my graphics card too, currently have ASUS Radeon 9600se, not good enough for games out in last few years,

    any advice appreciated thanks,

    Garville.

You've got nowhere near enough RAM to run Windows 7.

If as you say your PC is or has been great for what you want, I suggest backing up your files and reinstalling Win2k from scratch. That comes for free. Doing anything else will require more RAM.
