    hey all

so there's a cat coming on to my balcony to go to the toilet and i am ending up picking up cat poo at least a couple of times a week.

anyone any idea if there's anything i can do to deter it?
i've never seen the cat on the balcony so can't even keep an eye out and shoo it away

you could try either of the following
Apply sticky tape to the edge. Cats hate the feeling of sticky tape, and should be discouraged after one or two tries. The disadvantage is that you may have to keep reapplying it indefinitely, and the sticky stuff may be difficult to clean up afterward.
Tape a strip of aluminum foil along the edge.
It's not only the feel of it on their toes, but the noise that deters cats.
